Is uncultured marble a good material for a bathroom top?

Anyone who has seen a beautiful sculpture appreciates the beauty of marble in a home. Unfortunately Marvel is not recommended for the bathroom. It is more porous than granite and sometimes can stain very easily. Some marble can be stained very seriously by common liquids such as shampoo, nail polish remover, hair dye, and in some cases even water.

How do I care for a granite bathroom top?

Use warm water and a liquid detergent for cleanup. Avoid abrasive cleaners. If you come across a gold or lightly scratched area, try to restore it with a white automotive polishing compound and then wax it would liquid wax. Denatured alcohol can remove most residues, but acetone and lacquer thinner would damage the surface and should be avoided. For daily and weekly cleaning use a nonabrasive liquid or foam cleaner.

Can a sink be installed on top of the counter?

Thanks that float above the counter are more common by today's modern standards. Glass bowls can be striking, however they are tough to keep clean of fingerprints and can be easily broken. Use any standard glass cleaner to keep them clean. Floating sinks are difficult to install so think about having hiring a professional if you buy one.
